The Earthcare Balloon will soon visit your school. The Earthcare Balloon is a large inflatable model of the earth. The Earthcare Balloon is so large that it nearly touches the ceiling. To learn about our changing planet, you will enter the large Earthcare Balloon through a zipper in the Pacific Ocean. Volcanos, earthquakes and rain forests are fun to learn about with the Earthcare Balloon. A class of students can fit inside this large globe.

The Earthcare Balloon is made of satellite photographs taken high above our actual earth. These special photos allow us to view the earth without any clouds blocking our view. The Earthcare Balloon allows us to see mountains, rivers, deserts, rain forests, islands and oceans. We will learn about special places that are different from anywhere else on the earth. We will also learn about special animals that are only found in certain locations on our earth. We will find our place on this beautiful planet.
